The business is owned and run by Aaron, who originally was a classic car mechanic before changing direction to vehicle detailing and valeting with his skills and eye for detail. It was the perfect direction to go, he is dedicated, very friendly and no job is too small for him. Aaron Specializing in high-end, luxury and supercars also in machine polishing and ceramic coatings, Offering valeting and detailing in Torbay and the surrounding areas of South Devon. Finesse Detailing are highly professional and work to the customer’s needs, offering outstanding customer service as well as high standards of work.

Finesse Detailing  – Interview –

Aaron a young entrepreneur and 24 years of age, decided to start a new business called Finesse Detailing: vehicle valeting and detailing services last year during the covid crisis pandemic! 

“which at the time he said he thought it was going to be impossible to get it off the ground and that it would fail” but with the support of his parents he was determined to make it work, After leaving college as a fully qualified mechanic Aaron went to work in a classic car garage learning a vast amount of new skills and working on high-end cars and prestige classic cars during his time there. “He said he also had done a valeting and detailing course as his boss saw something in him” when Aaron took his time cleaning the cars ready for customers to collect. Unfortunately, the business had to close and Aaron became out of work. 

Aaron wanted to stay with cars but it was proving hard to get another mechanic role in another garage, so he tried sales instead and got a job at Vospers. He started for one day and then the pandemic hit and Vospers had to close. “It felt like I was going backwards and worried about becoming unemployed again as it was uncertain if my position was going to be held for me when they were able to reopen up again, After months of closure, Vospers were able to reopen and Aaron did start back but the pressure to sell cars and make a profit was immense and he soon found the pressure too much as he had no formal training for sales, but as he was doing so well at the job he did get put upon. Aaron then decided it was time to leave Vospers and focus on himself and create his own business and put his valeting and detailing skills that he had learnt in his course to good use and make his idea become a reality, With his background and passion for cars, Aaron aims to offer a high-end service but with competitive prices. He strives to be the best and to achieve a high-quality result on any vehicle that he works on. Aaron says “if it isn’t perfect then I’m not happy until it is”, Aaron comes across to me as a friendly, well mannered and honest young man who explains every step by step technique that he uses to make sure that he matches the service to your vehicle.

This is now proving to be paying off for him as with customers building via word of mouth and Facebook/Google business reviews and photos showing the quality of my work and results achieved.
